Press one test piece per fabric group and wash it, because dye migration on the poly end of the pile shows up after the wash, not on the press.

Late sponsors, walk-up registrations, and why no minimum matters

Fundraisers do not finalise. A sponsor commits the week of the event, twelve more people register at the table, a board member wants a shirt in 3XL. Standard DTF transfers have no minimum order, so a reorder of eight transfers is a real order, not a favour. Sponsor logos come in whatever state the sponsor has them. A JPG pulled off a website carries a white box behind it, and that box prints as white ink sitting around the mark on a coloured shirt. The background knockout tool on the site runs in the browser and strips it without a round trip to a designer. What you want in the end is a 300 DPI PNG with a transparent background, sized at the final print dimensions, because that file is also what the price is calculated from. If a sponsor only has a low resolution logo, chase it at your artwork deadline, not the night before the press run.
