Production Technology
Reference documentation for professional decorators. DTF, UV-cured printing, raised dimension, file requirements, substrate compatibility, and heat press settings.
Key Facts
- Standard DTF press window: 300 to 325 F for cotton, 285 to 300 F for polyester, 10 to 15 seconds, medium-firm pressure.
- UV cure: 365 to 405 nm UV LED light triggers radical polymerization in milliseconds. No solvent, no thermal cure, no off-gassing.
- Raised UV stack height: 0.5 mm to 0.8 mm of layered acrylate is the band that reads as embossed without going rigid.
- File requirements: 300 DPI PNG with transparent background at final print size. Vectors accepted as AI, EPS, SVG, PDF.
- DTF substrate range: Cotton, polyester, blends, fleece, canvas, denim. UV DTF for glass, ceramic, metal, leather, hard plastic.
- Wash durability: 50-plus wash cycles on DTF when applied correctly. The print becomes part of the fabric after a press.
