SAME DAY IF ORDERED BY 3PM

DTF Transfers for Uniondale, NY Manufacturers and Distribution Teams

If you run a plant floor or a distribution operation in Uniondale, the apparel problem is rarely design, it is replacement: people get hired and shirts wear out. DTF transfers separate the print from the garment, so you stock blanks and press on demand. Orders placed by 3 PM Eastern on a business day ship from our Huntington shop that same day.

What a Nassau County production or distribution crew actually orders

The order that repeats is small and dull: a left chest logo, a larger back mark so a supervisor can read a crew from across a floor, and sometimes a name or department strip. Sizes cluster around 3.5 by 3 inches for the chest and 11 by 14 for the back. Quantities run in the dozens rather than the thousands, because the run is a replenishment, not a launch. That is the pattern DTF suits. There is no minimum on standard DTF transfers, so ordering 18 because 18 people started this month costs the same per piece as ordering 400.

The arithmetic on a left-chest run, and when a gang sheet is the wrong tool

Standard DTF is $0.06 per square inch of the design's bounding box. A 3.5 by 3 inch chest logo is 10.5 square inches, so $0.63 each. Forty of them is $25.20. An 11 by 14 back print is 154 square inches, or $9.24. A 5 by 1.5 inch name strip is $0.45. Gang sheets are priced on sheet area, not design area: a 14 by 36 sheet is $30.24. With 0.25 inch spacing that chest logo tiles 3 across and 11 down, 33 per sheet, about $0.92 each. For one repeated rectangle, order singles. Gang sheets earn their keep on mixed, irregular art you can nest.

Press on demand instead of forecasting sizes

Turnover is the reason this model works. A box of transfers does not have a size, a cut or a color. Keep blanks in the size run your floor actually wears, keep the transfers flat, and press when someone starts. Reordering is the same file at the same per-square-inch price, so you are never buying 144 shirts just to reach a usable unit cost. Free shipping starts at $99 in the contiguous US, which for a $0.63 chest logo is 160 pieces, or eleven 11 by 14 back prints at $9.24 each.

Pressing polyester work shirts without scorching them

Most industrial blanks are not 100 percent cotton, and the press setting is not the same. Cotton takes 300 to 325 F. Polyester takes 285 to 300 F. Both run 10 to 15 seconds at medium-firm pressure. Run one test piece from the same lot before you commit a carton, because blends and dyes behave differently between mills. Applied to spec, the transfer holds through 50 or more commercial wash cycles at 104 F, which matters if garments go out to a laundry service weekly rather than home with the employee.

UV DTF for bins, totes and equipment, not just shirts

Apparel is half the job in a warehouse. UV DTF transfers are $0.10 per square inch and go onto hard goods: totes, bins, clipboards, tool cases, bottles. A 2 by 3 inch asset mark is 6 square inches, so $0.60 each. UV DTF gang sheets are 24 inches wide, which suits a page of repeated small decals. Standard DTF, UV DTF and gang sheets are all same-day products. The specialty UV builds run longer because the cure and build stages are additive: raised UV patches, dimensional UV graphics and fauxbroidery are 48 hours, leatherette patches and puff DTF are 72.

Getting it from Huntington to Uniondale

We print at 205 E Main St, Ste 2-1 in Huntington. That is our only location, so serving Nassau County means one of three things. Ship it: free over $99, 2 to 5 business days standard or 1 to 3 expedited, on a package handed to the carrier the same business day when you order before 3 PM Eastern. Pick it up: same business day after production, by appointment, in Huntington. Or take the $19.99 flat-rate local courier option, available at checkout for eligible Long Island addresses. Production runs Monday to Friday, so weekend and federal holiday orders ship the next business day.

Who orders from Uniondale

Plant and production supervisors

You need 20 shirts marked this week, not a 144-piece minimum next month. Order the chest logo as singles, press them onto blanks you already stock, and keep the rest of the box for the next hires.

Warehouse and 3PL operations managers

Peak staffing arrives in waves and leaves again. Transfers let you scale marked garments with headcount instead of committing to a print run in August for a December crew that has not been hired yet.

Safety and HR onboarding teams

New-hire kits need the same shirt every time, in whatever size walks in. A reorder is the same file at $0.06 per square inch, so a 10.5 square inch chest logo stays $0.63 whether you need 12 or 200.

Contract decorators serving industrial accounts

You are quoting per piece against a client's replenishment schedule. Bounding-box pricing keeps the quote arithmetic trivial, and a 3 PM Eastern order that ships the same business day lets you promise a date you can hold.

Uniondale questions

Can I get DTF transfers delivered to Uniondale the same day I order?
We ship same day, which is not the same as same-day delivery. An order placed by 3 PM Eastern on a business day is printed, inspected, packed and handed to the carrier that day. Transit is still 2 to 5 business days standard, 1 to 3 expedited. For a faster hand-off, the $19.99 flat-rate courier option is available at checkout for eligible Long Island addresses.
Is there a minimum order for plant or warehouse uniform logos?
Not on standard DTF transfers. One chest logo is fine. A few products do carry minimums: puff DTF is 10 units, leatherette patches are 10 per shape and color, and custom UV DTF has a $35 order minimum. For a routine left-chest or back print, order exactly the count you need to mark this week.
Will DTF survive industrial laundering on work shirts?
Applied to spec, transfers hold through 50 or more commercial wash cycles at 104 F. The spec is what carries it: 300 to 325 F for cotton, 285 to 300 F for polyester, 10 to 15 seconds, medium-firm pressure. Production defects are reprinted. Report a defective or incorrect order within 7 days of delivery with photos, per our terms.
What artwork do you need from our operations or marketing team?
A 300 DPI PNG with a transparent background, sized at final print dimensions. If all you have is a logo on a white square, run it through the free background knockout tool on the site. The pricing calculator gives the per-piece cost from the bounding box, and the gang sheet builder handles layout and the 0.25 inch spacing.
Can we pick up in Huntington instead of shipping to Nassau County?
Yes. Local pickup is available the same business day after production, by appointment, at 205 E Main St, Ste 2-1, Huntington, NY 11743. That is our only physical location, so there is no counter or drop-off point in Uniondale. Call 631-458-3842 or email our order desk to set a pickup time.
