Standard DTF transfers are $0.06 per square inch of the design's bounding box. A 3.5 by 3.5 inch chest logo is 12.25 square inches, so $0.74 each. Two hundred and fifty of them is $183.75, which clears the $99 free shipping threshold in the contiguous US. A 4 by 1 inch name strip under the logo is 4 square inches, $0.24. An 11 by 14 inch back panel is 154 square inches, $9.24. Bounding box means the rectangle around the art, not the ink, so a horizontal wordmark costs the same whether the letters are solid or outlined. Tightening that rectangle is the only lever that moves the price.
When a gang sheet beats individual transfers, and when it does not
A 14 inch wide gang sheet is priced on sheet area at the same $0.06, so a 14 by 24 is $20.16 and a 14 by 72 is $60.48. Minimum spacing between designs is 0.25 inch. Three 3.5 inch chest logos fit across the 14 inch width and six rows fit down a 24 inch sheet, so 18 logos for $20.16, or $1.12 each. The same 18 ordered as individual transfers is $0.74 each. For one repeated logo, individual transfers win. Gang sheets win when the run is varied: 12 department names, four title lines, a handful of sleeve marks and one back panel nested on a single 14 by 36 for $30.24, then cut apart at the press.
Pressing onto performance polos and poly blends
Corporate programs skew polyester and poly blends: performance polos, quarter zips, woven shells. Press those at 285 to 300 F. Cotton tees and fleece take 300 to 325 F. Either way it is 10 to 15 seconds at medium-firm pressure. Press one sample from each garment lot before you run the program, because two shipments of the same style can behave differently. Applied to spec, the transfers hold through 50 or more commercial wash cycles at 104 F, which is what matters when uniforms go through a contracted laundry rather than a home machine. Artwork should be a 300 DPI PNG with a transparent background, sized at final print size.

Office and department swag usually means hard goods. UV DTF transfers are $0.10 per square inch and apply to tumblers, bottles, laptop lids, clipboards, glassware and signage without heat. A 3 by 3 inch mark is $0.90. UV DTF gang sheets are 24 inches wide, and UV DTF ships same day on the same 3 PM cutoff. The specialty UV builds do not, because the cure and build stages are additive: raised UV patches at $0.65 each, dimensional UV graphics at $0.10 per square inch, luxury branding transfers and fauxbroidery are 48 hours. Leatherette patches and puff DTF are 72 hours, and puff carries a 10 unit minimum.
