DTF Transfers for Yonkers Manufacturers and Community Groups

Long Island DTF Printing ships direct-to-film transfers to Yonkers and the rest of Westchester County from our Huntington, NY facility. Standard DTF is $0.06 per square inch of your design's bounding box, with no minimum order. Anything placed by 3 PM Eastern on a business day is printed, packed and handed to the carrier that same business day.

What a workwear order actually costs, in square inches

A shop-floor order usually splits into two print sizes. A left chest at 3.5 by 3 inches is 10.5 square inches, so $0.63 per transfer at $0.06 per square inch. A back bar carrying the company name at 11 by 4 inches is 44 square inches, or $2.64. Twenty five shirts done both ways is $81.75 of transfers. There is no minimum on standard DTF, so a run of six replacement shirts for new hires is priced per inch exactly like a run of six hundred. You press them as garments come in instead of committing to a full case of blanks up front.

Group shirt runs: full color at the same rate as one color

A 10 by 12 inch front graphic is 120 square inches, $7.20 a shirt. Fourteen of them is $100.80, which clears the $99 free shipping threshold on its own. Full color costs the same as one color, because DTF is priced by area and not by ink count. That is the difference for group art carrying photographs, gradients or a row of sponsor marks, all of which a screen shop bills per screen. Add a 3 by 3 inch sleeve mark at $0.54 each for a year or a program name. Sizes and designs can be mixed inside one order with no penalty and no minimum.

The 3 PM Eastern cutoff, and how orders reach Westchester County

Order by 3 PM Eastern on a business day and it is printed, inspected, packed and handed to the carrier that same business day. That is the standard service for everyone, not a rush tier and not a fee. After 3 PM, or on a weekend or federal holiday, it ships the next business day, since production runs Monday to Friday. Same-day shipping is not same-day delivery. Standard transit is 2 to 5 business days, expedited is 1 to 3, and shipping is free at $99 and up. If someone is making the trip, pickup at 205 E Main St, Ste 2-1, Huntington, NY 11743 runs by appointment the same business day after production.

Gang sheet or individual transfers for a repeating logo

A 14 by 36 gang sheet is $30.24 for 504 square inches of sheet. Designs need at least 0.25 inch of spacing, so a 3.5 by 3 inch left chest really occupies 3.75 by 3.25. That is three across and eleven down, 33 logos, about $0.92 each. The same logo bought as an individual transfer is $0.63, because you pay for the bounding box instead of the sheet. Gang sheets earn their keep when the art is mixed: different sizes, odd shapes, small marks nested into the gaps. Fill the sheet and the effective rate drops back toward $0.06. The auto-build packer on the site does the nesting for you.

Pressing onto polyester workwear without cooking the shirt

Workwear is usually polyester or a poly blend, and that changes the press. Polyester runs 285 to 300 F, cotton runs 300 to 325 F, both for 10 to 15 seconds at medium-firm pressure. Stay at the bottom of the polyester window on light shirts and safety colors, where dye migration shows first. Applied to spec, transfers survive 50 or more commercial wash cycles at 104 F, which is the number that matters for shirts laundered every week. If you are decorating hard goods rather than garments, UV DTF at $0.10 per square inch sticks to bottles, cases, tumblers and equipment panels.

Files, tools and what happens if a transfer is bad

Send a 300 DPI PNG with a transparent background, sized at final print size. If your art is a JPG sitting on a white box, the browser-based knockout tool on the site strips the background before you upload. The pricing calculator gives the per-square-inch total before you commit, the drag-and-drop builder and auto-packer handle gang sheets, and a catalog of 2,434 ready-to-print designs is there if you need filler art for a fundraiser. Production defects are reprinted: report a defective or incorrect order within 7 days of delivery with photos.

Who orders from Yonkers

Small manufacturers and fabricators

Left chest and back bar logos on crew shirts, poly work polos and hi-vis. No minimum means you reprint six shirts for a new hire at the same per-inch rate as a two-hundred-shirt seasonal restock.

Community groups and volunteer programs

Fundraiser, cleanup day and youth program shirts where the art is full color and carries a stack of sponsor marks. DTF charges by area, not by ink count, so the sponsor block costs nothing extra.

Contract decorators and embroiderers in Westchester County

Subcontracted standard DTF and gang sheets, handed to the carrier the same business day when you order by 3 PM Eastern. Contour cutting is $0.29 per transfer, and fauxbroidery is available on a 48 hour build.

Product branding on hard goods

UV DTF at $0.10 per square inch for tool cases, bottles, tumblers and equipment panels, plus die-cut vinyl stickers at $0.22 and raised UV patches at $0.65 for packaging and spec kits.

Yonkers questions

Do you deliver to Yonkers, NY?
We ship to Yonkers rather than delivering it ourselves. Orders go out by carrier with standard transit of 2 to 5 business days, or 1 to 3 expedited, and shipping is free at $99 and up in the contiguous US. If you would rather collect in person, pickup at our Huntington, NY facility is available by appointment the same business day once production finishes.
I need shirts pressed this week. How fast do the transfers leave the shop?
An order placed by 3 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday, is printed, inspected, packed and handed to the carrier that same business day. That is standard for every customer, with no rush fee. After 3 PM, or on a weekend or federal holiday, it ships the next business day. Specialty UV is the exception: raised UV patches and fauxbroidery are 48 hours, leatherette patches and puff DTF 72.
For 40 identical left chest logos, is a gang sheet cheaper than individual transfers?
A 3.5 by 3 inch left chest is 10.5 square inches, so $0.63 as an individual transfer. Forty of them is $25.20. The same forty on a 14 inch gang sheet need 0.25 inch spacing, which fits roughly three across and eleven down per 14 by 36 sheet at $30.24. Individual transfers win on identical small art. Gang sheets win when you are packing mixed sizes tightly.
Can I press our logo onto polyester work polos and hi-vis without scorching them?
Press polyester at 285 to 300 F and cotton at 300 to 325 F, both 10 to 15 seconds at medium-firm pressure. Staying at the low end of the polyester range is what keeps dye migration and scorching off light shirts and safety colors. Applied to spec, transfers hold through 50 or more commercial wash cycles at 104 F.
Is there a minimum order for a small community group run?
There is no minimum on standard DTF transfers, so a six-shirt volunteer run is priced per square inch exactly like a six-hundred-shirt run. Minimums exist only on a few specialty items: puff DTF at 10 units, custom UV DTF at a $35 order minimum, and leatherette patches at 10 per shape and color.
