Common Questions
- Five standard sizes: 1", 1.25", 1.5", 2.25", and 3". Each size uses a different metal back assembly and printing area. The 1.25" and 1.5" buttons are the most popular for promotional giveaways and event swag.
- Each button is assembled by hand from four components: a full-color printed paper face, a protective Mylar laminate, a metal shell, and a metal pin-back. The Mylar laminate adds scratch resistance and a subtle gloss finish. The pin-back is rust-resistant safety steel.
- There is no hard minimum, but pricing is set per individual button so single-unit orders are not cost-efficient. Most customers order in quantities of 25, 50, or 100 for event distribution. Bulk orders of 500-plus units are available on request.
- Standard production is 1 to 2 business days from order placement to ship. Hand assembly adds a step beyond simple printing, but production capacity is sized for fast turnaround on standard orders up to 500 units. Larger orders may add a day.
- PNG, JPG, PDF, AI, EPS, and SVG. Resolution should be 300 DPI at final button size. Note that the printable area is slightly smaller than the button diameter to account for the bleed wrap around the shell edge. The upload step shows the safe print zone.
- The Mylar laminate is water-resistant for everyday wear including rain and sweat. They are not intended for full submersion or dishwasher use. The metal shell and pin-back are rust-resistant for normal apparel wear.
