DTF Transfers for Franklin Square Pop-Up Market and Craft Fair Vendors
Long Island DTF Printing supplies transfers to pop-up market and craft fair sellers around Franklin Square and the rest of Nassau County. Standard DTF is $0.06 per square inch of the design's bounding box with no minimum order, and anything placed by 3 PM Eastern on a business day goes to the carrier that same business day. Below is the arithmetic for a booth-sized run.
Booth stock, priced by the square inch
Standard DTF transfers are $0.06 per square inch of the design's bounding box, with no minimum order. A 10x12 full front is 120 square inches, so $7.20. A 4x4 left chest is $0.96. An 8x8 tote print is $3.84. Running the same design at 11 inches for adults and 8 inches for youth is $7.26 versus $3.84, so carrying both sizes costs almost nothing. A restock of 40 full fronts, 20 totes and 30 left chests comes to $393.60, which clears the $99 free shipping threshold in the contiguous US. Bounding box means the rectangle around the art, not ink coverage, so crop tight.
Working backwards from a Saturday show date
Production runs Monday to Friday. An order placed by 3 PM Eastern on a business day is printed, inspected, packed and handed to the carrier that same business day. That is the standard service for everyone, not an upgrade and not a rush fee. Orders placed after 3 PM Eastern, or on a weekend or federal holiday, ship the next business day. Transit is separate: 2 to 5 business days standard, 1 to 3 expedited. So a standard order placed Thursday by 3 PM can still land the following Thursday. Expedited placed Monday by 3 PM ships Monday and arrives Tuesday through Thursday. Never plan on a same-day in-hand date.
Gang sheet or loose transfers for a twelve-design table
A DTF gang sheet is 14 inches wide at $0.06 per square inch of sheet area, in fixed lengths: 14x18 is $15.12, 14x36 is $30.24, 14x72 is $60.48. Minimum spacing between designs is 0.25 inch. Because sheets and individual transfers carry the same rate, a gang sheet bills you for whitespace. Twenty-one 4.5x4.5 chest prints tile exactly 3 across and 7 down on a 14x36 for $30.24, against $25.52 as loose transfers. The sheet wins on handling, not price: one package, one cut session, one thing to store. Use the drag-and-drop builder or the auto-packer to check your real fill percentage first.
Tumblers, stickers and hat patches run on different clocks
Booths sell more than shirts. UV DTF is $0.10 per square inch for hard goods: a 3x4 tumbler badge is $1.20, a 9x4 wrap is $3.60, and UV DTF gang sheets are 24 inches wide. Die-cut vinyl stickers are $0.22 per square inch, so a 3x3 sticker is $1.98. Glow in the dark DTF is $0.18. Mind the turnaround split when you plan a show. Standard DTF, UV DTF and gang sheets are the same-day products. Raised UV patches at $0.65 per square inch, dimensional UV graphics and fauxbroidery are 48 hours. Leatherette patches and puff DTF are 72 hours. Order the patches before the tees.
Pressing a table full of mixed blanks
Market inventory is rarely one blank: cotton tees, tri-blends, performance polos, canvas totes. Cotton presses at 300 to 325 F, polyester at 285 to 300 F, both 10 to 15 seconds at medium-firm pressure. Applied to spec, transfers hold past 50 commercial wash cycles at 104 F, which matters when a buyer returns to your booth next season. Artwork goes in as a 300 DPI PNG, transparent background, at final print size. The browser knockout tool strips a white background off a supplied logo. Pre-cut contour cutting is $0.29 per transfer when trimming is the bottleneck the night before a show. The catalog carries 2,434 ready-to-print designs.
Getting the order into your hands before load-in
There are three routes. Ship it: free on orders $99 and up in the contiguous US, 2 to 5 business days standard or 1 to 3 expedited, and we ship to all 50 states. Pick it up: same business day after production at 205 E Main St, Ste 2-1, Huntington NY 11743, by appointment. That is our only location. Local courier: a $19.99 flat-rate delivery option appears at checkout for eligible Long Island addresses, so check your address in the cart rather than assuming. If the order already clears $99, standard shipping is free, so price both before paying for the courier.
Who orders from Franklin Square
Weekend market vendors restocking between shows
Two designs sold out Saturday. Order the reprints Monday by 3 PM Eastern and they leave the same business day, which makes a two-week show cadence workable without sitting on dead inventory.
Someone booking a first craft fair booth
No minimum order means you can test eight designs at three shirts each. Eight 10x12 prints at $7.20 is $57.60. Find out what actually sells before committing to a case of blanks.
Holiday pop-up season in November and December
Back-to-back weekends leave no room for a missed carrier window. Place standard-shipping orders eight or more days out, switch to expedited inside that, and use Huntington pickup when a show is on top of you.
Makers pressing custom orders taken at the table
Collect names and numbers at the booth Saturday, order Monday by 3 PM Eastern, press midweek, hand off at the next show. Contour cutting at $0.29 per transfer removes the trimming step entirely.
Franklin Square questions
- How fast can I get DTF transfers to Franklin Square for a weekend craft fair?
- We ship same day, we do not deliver same day. An order placed by 3 PM Eastern on a business day is printed, inspected, packed and handed to the carrier that same business day. Transit is separate: 2 to 5 business days standard, 1 to 3 expedited. For a Saturday show on standard shipping, order at least eight days out.
- Is there a minimum order for DTF transfers if I only sell at a few markets a year?
- No minimum on standard DTF transfers. A single 8x10 print is 80 square inches, so $4.80, and we will run it on its own. Minimums exist only on a few specialty items: puff DTF at 10 units, custom UV DTF at a $35 order minimum, and leatherette patches at 10 per shape and color.
- Gang sheet or individual transfers for a craft fair booth with a lot of different designs?
- Both bill at $0.06 per square inch, so a gang sheet charges you for the empty space around your art. On a mixed booth run, individual transfers usually come out a few dollars cheaper. Choose the 14 inch gang sheet when your designs tile tightly and you would rather cut one sheet than sort loose pieces.
- Can I pick up my transfers instead of shipping them to Nassau County?
- Yes. Pickup is by appointment at 205 E Main St, Ste 2-1, Huntington NY 11743, the same business day once production finishes. That is our only location, so there is no Franklin Square drop-off point. A $19.99 flat-rate local courier option also appears at checkout for eligible Long Island addresses.
- What temperature do I press DTF transfers on the blanks I sell at markets?
- Cotton presses at 300 to 325 F. Polyester presses at 285 to 300 F. Both run 10 to 15 seconds at medium-firm pressure. Applied to spec, transfers hold past 50 commercial wash cycles at 104 F. Send artwork as a 300 DPI PNG with a transparent background, sized at final print size.
