Gang Sheet Math for a Boutique Restock

A gang sheet is a format, not a volume discount. Sheets are 14 inches wide and priced at $0.06 per square inch of sheet area, the same rate as an individual transfer, in fixed lengths: 14x18 $15.12, 14x24 $20.16, 14x36 $30.24, 14x48 $40.32, 14x54 $45.36, 14x72 $60.48. Minimum spacing between designs is 0.25 inch, and whitespace is paid space. Three 3.5 inch squares fit across the 14 inch web and nine rows fit down 36 inches, so a $30.24 sheet yields 27 pieces at $1.12 each, while the same squares ordered individually run $0.74. Drop 2x2 neck labels into the leftover column and the waste becomes stock.

Applied to spec, transfers hold 50 or more commercial wash cycles at 104 F, which is the number that matters when a customer brings a faded piece back to you. Send 300 DPI PNG files with transparent backgrounds at final print size. If artwork arrived from a supplier on a white background, run it through the browser-based knockout tool on the site before uploading.
