DTF Transfers in Ridge, NY for Pop-Up Market and Craft Fair Vendors
If you sell at pop-up markets and craft fairs, your order looks nothing like a team order: many designs, a few pieces each, a deadline every weekend. We print standard DTF transfers at $0.06 per square inch with no minimum, and an order placed by 3 PM Eastern on a business day ships the same business day. We ship to Ridge and across Suffolk County.
The order a market vendor actually places
Booth inventory is different from a team order. You are not printing 60 of one design, you are printing 8 to 12 designs at 3 to 6 pieces each, spread across S to 2XL, because you do not know what sells until the table is up. There is no minimum on standard DTF transfers, so a single piece of a new design is a legitimate order. Press onto blanks you already own, and hold the rest as film in a flat bin instead of as printed shirts you have to size-guess and store through the season.
Per-square-inch math for a booth kit
Standard DTF is $0.06 per square inch of the design's bounding box. A 3x3 left chest is $0.54. A 4x4 is $0.96. An 8x10 is $4.80, a 10x12 is $7.20, an 11x14 is $9.24, a 12x16 is $11.52. A ten-design booth kit at four pieces each, all 10x12, is 40 transfers at $7.20, or $288. Mix the sizes and it drops: 20 left chest 4x4 at $0.96 plus 20 full front 11x14 at $9.24 is $204.00. Both clear the $99 free shipping threshold for the contiguous US. The pricing calculator on the site runs this per design before you commit.
Gang sheets when you carry ten designs
DTF gang sheets are 14 inches wide at fixed lengths, priced at $0.06 per square inch of sheet area: 14x18 $15.12, 14x24 $20.16, 14x36 $30.24, 14x48 $40.32, 14x54 $45.36, 14x72 $60.48. Minimum spacing between designs is 0.25 inch. On a 14x36 sheet, 4x4 art on a 4.25 inch pitch gives 3 across and 8 down, so 24 pieces for $30.24. The rate is identical either way, so a sheet pays when you nest: script words, irregular outlines, odd corners and small filler pieces tucked into space a bounding box would have charged you for anyway. Use the drag-and-drop builder, or let the auto-build packer place them.
The non-apparel half of the table
Half a craft fair table is usually not shirts. UV DTF transfers are $0.10 per square inch and apply to hard goods without heat, which covers tumblers, glassware, tins and sign blanks, and UV DTF gang sheets run 24 inches wide. Custom UV DTF carries a $35 order minimum. Die-cut vinyl stickers are $0.22 per square inch and move as an impulse item at the front of the table. Standard DTF, UV DTF and gang sheets all ship same day. The specialty items run longer because the cure and build stages are additive: raised UV patches at $0.65 and fauxbroidery are 48 hours, leatherette patches and puff DTF are 72 hours.
The restock clock between weekend markets
Production runs Monday to Friday. An order placed by 3 PM Eastern on a business day is printed, inspected, packed and handed to the carrier that same business day. That is the standard service, not a rush fee and not something to upgrade. After 3 PM, or on a weekend or federal holiday, it ships the next business day. Same-day shipping is not same-day delivery: standard transit is 2 to 5 business days, expedited is 1 to 3. So a Sunday night reorder after a market ships Monday and, on standard transit, can land anywhere from midweek into the following week. If the next market is Saturday, order Monday, not Thursday.
Getting it to Ridge, and pressing it once it lands
Ridge sits in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County, and there are three ways to take delivery. Shipping is free on orders of $99 and up within the contiguous US. Local pickup is the same business day after production, by appointment, at 205 E Main St, Ste 2-1 in Huntington, which is our only location. A $19.99 flat-rate local courier option is available at checkout for eligible Long Island addresses. Once it lands: 300 to 325 F for cotton, 285 to 300 F for polyester, 10 to 15 seconds, medium-firm pressure. Applied to spec, prints hold 50-plus commercial wash cycles at 104 F. Send art as a 300 DPI PNG, transparent background, at final print size.
Who orders from Ridge
Weekend craft fair and pop-up market vendors
Carry 8 to 12 designs at a few pieces each instead of guessing one big run. No minimum on standard DTF, so you can print a single 4x4 test piece at $0.96 and see what actually sells.
Live-press booth operators
Press to order at the table. Add pre-cut contour cutting at $0.29 per transfer so every piece is peel-and-place, and press cotton at 300 to 325 F for 10 to 15 seconds at medium-firm pressure.
Holiday and seasonal vendor market sellers
When the calendar tightens to back-to-back weekends, the 3 PM Eastern cutoff is the whole game. Order Monday, ship Monday, and put restocks on expedited transit of 1 to 3 business days.
Online sellers who also work in-person markets
Print the same artwork for both channels. Gang sheets at 14 inches wide cover mixed-design restocks, and UV DTF at $0.10 per square inch handles the tumblers and hard goods your booth sells alongside shirts.
Ridge questions
- I sell at a market this Saturday. If I order Monday, will the transfers get to Ridge in time?
- Order Monday before 3 PM Eastern and it ships Monday. Standard transit is 2 to 5 business days and expedited is 1 to 3, so Monday leaves room and Thursday does not. We hand it to the carrier the same business day, but transit is separate, so build your buffer on that side.
- What is the cheapest way to print ten designs at three shirts each?
- Price it both ways. Individually, thirty 10x12 transfers at $0.06 per square inch is $7.20 each, or $216. A 14x36 gang sheet is $30.24 for 504 square inches of sheet area at the same rate. Sheets win when you nest irregular art tight; plain rectangles cost the same either way.
- Is there a minimum order? I only want one of a new design to test at the booth.
- No minimum on standard DTF transfers, so one 4x4 at $0.96 is a real order. Minimums exist only on a few specialty items: puff DTF at 10 units, leatherette patches at 10 per shape and color, and a $35 order minimum on custom UV DTF.
- Can I press transfers at my booth during the market?
- Yes, if you have a press and reliable power. Press cotton at 300 to 325 F, polyester at 285 to 300 F, for 10 to 15 seconds at medium-firm pressure. Add pre-cut contour cutting at $0.29 per transfer so each piece is peel-and-place and you are not trimming film at a folding table.
- Can I pick up in Huntington instead of shipping to Ridge?
- Yes. Local pickup is the same business day after production, by appointment, at 205 E Main St, Ste 2-1, Huntington NY 11743. That is our only location, so there is no drop-off point in Ridge. A $19.99 flat-rate local courier option is also available at checkout for eligible Long Island addresses.
