DTF Transfers for Roslyn Heights Dance and Performing Arts Studios

Dance and performing arts studios in Roslyn Heights order in bursts: registration tees in the fall, competition team apparel through the winter, then a recital run that has to be in hand before dress rehearsal. We print DTF transfers at $0.06 per square inch with no minimum, and an order placed by 3 PM Eastern on a business day is handed to the carrier that same business day.

What a studio season actually puts through the printer

Fall registration shirts for every class level. Competition team jackets and warmups with a left chest mark and a back logo, usually 12 to 24 pieces. Studio branding on parent tees and tote bags. Then the spring recital block: one design carried across a dozen class names, often 100 to 200 shirts, plus a separate cast and crew tee. Summer intensives get a dated one-off run that will never be reordered. Almost all of it is a small left chest mark plus one large front or back graphic, which is exactly what DTF handles without screens or setup charges. No minimum on standard DTF means a nine-dancer group pays the same per piece as a 200-shirt order.

Recital and competition math at $0.06 per square inch

Price follows the bounding box of the design, not the size of the garment. A 4 by 2.5 inch class name is 10 square inches, so $0.60. A 10 by 8 inch studio logo on the front is 80 square inches, so $4.80. An 11 by 14 inch back graphic with the year is 154 square inches, so $9.24. A 140-shirt recital run with that front logo plus the class name on the back yoke is $5.40 per shirt in transfers, $756 for the set. A 20-jacket competition order with an 11 by 11 back at $7.26, a 3 by 3 left chest at $0.54 and a 6 by 1.5 name strip at $0.54 works out to $8.34 a jacket. Pre-cut contour cutting adds $0.29 per transfer.

Gang sheets, dancer names, and what the white space costs

A 14 inch wide gang sheet is priced on sheet area at the same $0.06 rate, so a 14 by 36 is $30.24 and a 14 by 72 is $60.48. Minimum spacing between designs is 0.25 inch. Nest 6 by 1.5 inch dancer name strips two across on a 14 by 36 and you fit roughly 40, about $0.76 each. Those same strips priced as individual transfers are $0.54. The difference is the white space you paid for. Take the sheet when you want one file and one roll to cut apart in the studio office. Take individual transfers when you want the lower number. The auto-build packer shows the fill before you buy.

Pressing onto performance fabric without wrecking it

Recital cottons press at 300 to 325 F. Performance polyester, meaning the warmups, competition jackets and most stage pieces, presses at 285 to 300 F. Both run 10 to 15 seconds at medium-firm pressure. Run one test piece from the same garment lot before you commit the order, because blends and coatings vary between production runs even under the same style number. Applied to spec, the transfer holds 50 or more commercial wash cycles at 104 F, which covers a full competition season. Send artwork as a 300 DPI PNG with a transparent background at final print size. If the studio logo only exists as a JPG on an old flyer, the browser background knockout tool will strip it.

The 3 PM Eastern cutoff against a recital calendar

Production runs Monday through Friday. An order placed by 3 PM Eastern on a business day is printed, inspected, packed and handed to the carrier that same business day. After 3 PM, or on a weekend or federal holiday, it goes the next business day. Same day shipping is not same day delivery. Standard transit is 2 to 5 business days, expedited is 1 to 3. Work backwards from dress rehearsal, not from the show. Note the exceptions before you plan a costume element: leatherette patches and puff DTF are 72 hours, and raised UV patches, dimensional UV graphics and fauxbroidery are 48 hours. Standard DTF, UV DTF and gang sheets are the same-day products.

Ship to Nassau County, pick up in Huntington, or take the courier

Three ways an order reaches Roslyn Heights. Shipping is free on orders of $99 and up in the contiguous US, which a recital run clears easily and a full competition team order usually does too. Local pickup is the same business day after production, by appointment, at 205 E Main St, Ste 2-1 in Huntington NY. A $19.99 flat-rate local courier option is available at checkout for eligible Long Island addresses, so enter your Nassau County address and see whether it appears. Huntington is our only location. There is no drop-off point in Roslyn Heights and nothing about the job needs one, since artwork uploads straight from the studio office.

Who orders from Roslyn Heights

Studio owners planning a spring recital

One front logo across 100 to 200 shirts plus a different class name per group. Individual transfers keep each class name at its own bounding box price, and there is no minimum on the smallest class.

Competition team coordinators

Jackets and warmups with a left chest mark, a large back graphic and a dancer name strip. A 20-piece set runs about $8.34 a jacket in transfers, and single replacement names ship the same business day.

Choreographers and small performing arts programs

Short runs for a single production, cast and crew tees, or a dated summer intensive shirt. No minimum and no screen setup means a 12-piece run is priced the same per square inch as a large order.

Studios reprinting mid-season

New enrollments, a lost jacket, or a size swap. Order the one transfer you need by 3 PM Eastern on a business day, or pick it up in Huntington by appointment rather than paying to ship a single piece.

Roslyn Heights questions

Can I get recital shirts printed same day in Roslyn Heights?
We ship same day, we do not deliver same day. Order by 3 PM Eastern on a business day and it leaves our Huntington shop that day. Carrier transit is still 2 to 5 business days standard, 1 to 3 expedited. Local pickup in Huntington is same business day after production, by appointment.
What does a left chest class logo cost for 120 recital shirts?
A 4 by 2.5 inch mark is 10 square inches at $0.06, so $0.60 per transfer. That is $72 in transfers for 120 shirts, garments not included. Add a 10 by 8 inch front logo at $4.80 each and the set comes to $648. Use the pricing calculator for your exact bounding box.
Is there a minimum order for a nine-dancer competition team?
No minimum on standard DTF transfers, so nine jackets is a valid order and the per piece price is identical to a 200 shirt run. Minimums exist elsewhere in the catalog: puff DTF is 10 units, leatherette patches are 10 per shape and color, and custom UV DTF carries a $35 order minimum.
Will DTF hold up on stretchy leotards and warmups through a season?
Pressed to spec, transfers hold 50 or more commercial wash cycles at 104 F. Use 285 to 300 F for polyester, 10 to 15 seconds, medium-firm pressure. Stretch fabrics vary between garment lots, so press one spare from the same lot and flex it cold before committing the full team order.
Can I add one dancer's name after the team order already shipped?
Yes. A 6 by 1.5 inch name strip is 9 square inches, so $0.54, and there is no minimum on standard DTF. A single replacement name is a valid order. Place it by 3 PM Eastern on a business day and it ships that day, or pick it up in Huntington by appointment.
