Numbers, name bars and the week-three roster add
No minimum on standard transfers means a single player is a real order, not a favor. A kid joins in week three and you need one 8 by 5 number and one name bar: that is $3.48 of transfer, ordered on its own, printed the same business day if it is in by 3 PM Eastern. Order number sets as separate transfers from the crest so you can press them independently and keep one bad alignment from costing you a jersey. Print spares in the common digits while you are there. At $2.40 each, three spares cost less than replacing one blank.
Gang sheet or single transfers: run both numbers
Standard transfers and DTF gang sheets are both $0.06 per square inch, so a sheet is not automatically cheaper. The sheet charges you for the full 14 inch width including the gaps, and minimum spacing between designs is 0.25 inch. Square, boxy artwork like numbers and name bars usually prices lower as individual transfers. Irregular artwork with a lot of dead space inside its bounding box, script wordmarks and mascot outlines, nests tightly and wins on a sheet. A 14 by 36 sheet is $30.24 and a 14 by 72 is $60.48. Working backwards from a Saturday tournament
Same-day shipping is not same-day delivery, and that distinction sets your order date. In by 3 PM Eastern on a business day and it is printed, inspected, packed and handed to the carrier that day. Transit is separate: 2 to 5 business days standard, 1 to 3 expedited. For a Saturday tournament, a standard-shipping order placed Thursday afternoon is a gamble. Order the Monday before, pay for expedited, or collect it. Pickup at our Huntington facility is same business day after production, by appointment. Production runs Monday to Friday, so weekend and federal holiday orders ship the next business day.
Pressing on mesh, poly and cotton in one order
Youth kit is rarely one fabric. Cotton tees press at 300 to 325 F. Polyester jerseys and mesh press at 285 to 300 F, and on poly stay toward the low end of that range. Either way it is 10 to 15 seconds at medium-firm pressure. Applied to spec, transfers hold past 50 commercial wash cycles at 104 F, which matters more for a jersey washed after every game than for a one-off tee. Test one shirt from each fabric before you run the roster. Mesh needs even pressure across the weave, so check platen coverage on the larger back numbers.
Sideline stickers, coach hats and fundraiser pieces
Teams buy more than jerseys. Die-cut vinyl stickers are $0.22 per square inch for helmet decals, water bottles and parent car windows, so a 4 by 4 inch sticker is $3.52. Leatherette patches for coach hats carry a 10 per shape and color minimum and run 72 hours. Puff DTF has a 10 unit minimum and also runs 72 hours. Fauxbroidery, the embroidery-look transfer, runs 48 hours. Those specialty lines are not same-day products, so place them as a separate earlier order rather than holding up the jerseys. Glow in the dark DTF is $0.18 per square inch.

- Can I get transfers in time for a Saturday tournament?
- Ship date and delivery date are different. An order in by 3 PM Eastern on a business day is handed to the carrier that day, but standard transit is 2 to 5 business days and expedited is 1 to 3. For a Saturday event, order early in the week, pay for expedited, or pick up in Huntington by appointment.
- What press settings should I use on polyester travel jerseys?
- Polyester and mesh jerseys press at 285 to 300 F, 10 to 15 seconds, medium-firm pressure, and you want the low end of that range on poly. Cotton tees take 300 to 325 F. Press one jersey from the order first and check the peel and the edges before you run the full roster.
- A parent sent me the team logo as a screenshot. Can you use it?
- Send it, but expect to fix it. We need a 300 DPI PNG with a transparent background at final print size. A screenshot is usually low resolution with a white box behind it. The free background knockout tool on our site removes the background. Resolution it cannot fix, so ask whoever made the logo for the original file.
