Leatherette Patch
A heat-applied patch with a synthetic leather face surface printed with raised UV branding.
Definition
A leatherette patch is a heat-applied apparel patch built on a synthetic leather face material. The face is decorated with raised UV print to produce dimensional branding on a leather-look surface. Leatherette patches apply to hats, jackets, and bags with a standard heat press at 280 to 300 F for 15 seconds. They deliver the premium look of a sewn leather label without the cost of die-cut leather and machine sewing. The synthetic face accepts crisp UV detail and tolerates apparel wash cycles when applied correctly. Long Island DTF Printing sells leatherette patches priced per square inch with no digitizing fee.
