Concept
Left Chest
The standard logo or brand placement on the left chest area of a shirt, typically 3 to 4 inches wide.
Definition
Left chest is the standard apparel decoration placement where a logo or brand mark is positioned on the left chest area of a shirt, polo, or jacket. The placement is roughly 3 to 4 inches wide and is positioned 7 to 9 inches down from the shoulder seam, depending on garment size. Left chest is the most common spot for company logos, uniform marks, and brand identity transfers. The size constraint forces type and detail decisions: minimum 6 pt text height, minimum 1.5 pt stroke weight, and a design built to read at small scale. A left-chest DTF transfer prices at roughly $0.72 to $1.44 at the $0.06 per square inch rate.
