Youth sizes usually need the same art scaled to roughly 8 by 10 inches, 80 square inches, $4.80 each. Those are two separate files and two separate line items, because the price follows the printed size and nothing else. Send both at 300 DPI PNG with a transparent background at final print size rather than one file you intend to resize later. Scaling up a youth-sized export softens the edges that make a crest or a script wordmark read cleanly on a small chest.
When a 14 inch gang sheet beats single transfers
DTF gang sheets are 14 inches wide and priced at $0.06 per square inch of sheet area: 14 by 36 is $30.24, 14 by 72 is $60.48. Same rate as a single transfer, which means a sheet only wins when your art nests tighter than its own bounding box. Run the numbers. At the 0.25 inch minimum spacing, twenty-seven 3.5 inch crests fit a 14 by 36 sheet, about $1.12 each, while that same crest ordered as a single transfer is 74 cents. Working backwards from a spirit day
An order placed by 3 PM Eastern on a business day is printed, inspected, packed and handed to the carrier that same business day. That is the standard service on standard DTF, UV DTF and gang sheets, not an upgrade and not a fee. Production runs Monday to Friday, so a Saturday order goes out Monday. Same-day shipping is not same-day delivery: standard transit is 2 to 5 business days, expedited is 1 to 3. Count backwards from the date shirts have to be on bodies, not from the date art gets approved. Specialty items are slower by design. Settings for a volunteer pressing night
Most spirit wear ends up pressed by parents rather than by a production crew, so write the settings on the box. Cotton runs 300 to 325 F, polyester runs 285 to 300 F, 10 to 15 seconds, medium-firm pressure. Blended and performance shirts belong at the lower end of that range. Applied to spec, the transfer holds 50 plus commercial wash cycles at 104 F, which is the number that matters when a shirt gets worn every Friday for a term. Prep the art first: 300 DPI PNG, transparent background, final print size. School logos usually arrive as a flattened JPG with a white box behind them, and the browser-based knockout tool on the site removes that before upload.

- Is there a minimum order for a PTA fundraiser?
- Not on standard DTF transfers, DTF gang sheets or UV DTF. Order one transfer if that is what the run needs. Minimums exist only on a few specialty items: puff DTF is 10 units, custom UV DTF carries a $35 order minimum, and leatherette patches are 10 per shape and color.
- Can I have transfers for a Friday spirit day if I order Monday?
- Order by 3 PM Eastern on Monday and the package is handed to the carrier that Monday. Standard transit is 2 to 5 business days and expedited is 1 to 3, so Friday is realistic, but the carrier owns the delivery date. If the date is fixed, choose expedited or pick up in Huntington by appointment.
- The school logo I have is a low-res JPG with a white background. Can you print it?
- We need a 300 DPI PNG with a transparent background at final print size. A white background prints as a white box around the art. Use the free browser-based knockout tool on the site to remove it, then view the file at actual print size before uploading. Low resolution art stays soft no matter how it is scaled.
- Can someone from Centereach pick up instead of paying shipping?
