DTF Transfers for Patchogue, NY Merch Runs
Patchogue merch runs live and die on a date. A show, a tap takeover, a release night. We print standard DTF transfers at $0.06 per square inch with no minimum, and any order placed by 3 PM Eastern on a business day goes to the carrier that same day. Shipping, Huntington pickup and local courier are all on the table.
Merch Runs Built Backwards From a Show Date
A merch order has a hard deadline. Doors open whether the box arrived or not. Our cutoff is 3 PM Eastern. An order placed before it on a business day is printed, inspected, packed and handed to the carrier that same business day. That is the standard service on standard DTF, UV DTF and gang sheets, not an upgrade and not a fee. After 3 PM, or on a weekend or federal holiday, the order ships the next business day. Production runs Monday to Friday. Same-day shipping is not same-day delivery: standard transit is 2 to 5 business days, expedited 1 to 3. Count backwards from the date on the poster, not forwards from today.
What a 24-Piece Band Run Actually Costs
Standard DTF is $0.06 per square inch of the design's bounding box, with no minimum order. A 10 by 12 inch front print is 120 square inches, so $7.20. An 11 by 14 back print is 154 square inches, $9.24. A 3.5 by 3.5 left chest is 12.25 square inches, 74 cents. A 2 by 11 sleeve hit is 22 square inches, $1.32. Price a 24-piece run with a back print and a left chest and you are at $9.98 a shirt in transfers, $239.52 for the run. Forty-eight taproom tees with one 10 by 12 front comes to $345.60. Both clear the $99 free shipping threshold in the contiguous US.
When a Gang Sheet Beats Ordering Transfers Individually
Gang sheets are 14 inches wide at the same $0.06 per square inch, except the charge is the whole sheet area, gaps included. Fixed lengths: 14x18 $15.12, 14x24 $20.16, 14x36 $30.24, 14x48 $40.32, 14x54 $45.36, 14x72 $60.48. Minimum spacing between designs is 0.25 inch. So a sparse gang sheet costs you money that individual transfers would not, because individual pricing charges only each bounding box. Gang sheets win when the art is irregular: a wide script, an arched band name, a logo with a long tail. Nest those inside one sheet and you stop paying for empty corners twice. Run the auto-build packer first to see what fits before you commit to a length.
Pressing Tour Blanks: Cotton, Poly and Tri-Blends
Merch runs rarely stay on one blank. Cotton tees press at 300 to 325 F. Polyester and poly-heavy blends press at 285 to 300 F, because the higher end scorches and can pull dye migration out of black and deep-color poly. Both at 10 to 15 seconds, medium-firm pressure. Test one piece from each blank before you commit the stack, especially if a tri-blend tee and a heavyweight cotton hoodie are in the same order. Applied to spec, transfers hold 50 plus commercial wash cycles at 104 F. If you want the stack ready to peel and press with no hand trimming, the pre-cut contour cutting add-on is $0.29 per transfer.
Turning a Can Label or Poster Logo Into Print-Ready Art
Band and brewery logos usually arrive as whatever was built for a label or a flyer: a JPEG on a white square, or a 72 DPI web export. Print wants a 300 DPI PNG with a transparent background, sized at final print size. The browser-based background knockout tool on the site strips a flat white or solid backdrop without a round trip to a designer. Set the canvas to the real print dimensions before you export, because scaling a small file up at press time is where soft edges come from. If you need a second design to fill a sheet, the catalog holds 2,434 ready-to-print designs.
Three Ways to Get a Patchogue Order In Hand
Our only location is 205 E Main St, Ste 2-1, Huntington, NY 11743. Ship it: free on orders $99 and up in the contiguous US, 2 to 5 business days standard, 1 to 3 expedited. Pick it up in Huntington the same business day after production, by appointment, which is the safest route when the date will not move. Or take the $19.99 flat-rate local courier, available at checkout for eligible Long Island addresses. Suffolk County orders that clear the 3 PM Eastern cutoff leave the building the same day either way. If a specific date is tight, call 631-458-3842 or email our order desk before you order.
Who orders from Patchogue
Bands and touring acts
Tour tees and one-off show runs. A back print plus a small chest hit, 12 to 48 pieces, pressed onto whatever blanks got sourced. No minimum means the merch table can restock a single size that sold out.
Breweries and taprooms
Staff shirts, taproom hoodies and release tees on a repeating cycle. One 10 by 12 front print runs $7.20 a piece, reprinted whenever a seasonal label changes, with no screen or setup charge to redo the art.
Venue and event crews
Crew shirts, volunteer tees and door-staff hoodies for a single night. Small counts, short notice, often ordered days out. Pickup in Huntington the same business day is the route when the calendar will not move.
Shops printing for nightlife accounts
Print shops taking on band and brewery clients who want ten pieces, not two hundred. Gang sheets consolidate mixed art into one 14 inch wide file, and contour cutting at $0.29 a transfer removes the trimming step.
Patchogue questions
- Can I order DTF transfers in Patchogue and get them the same day?
- We ship the same business day, which is not the same as delivering the same day. Place a standard DTF order before 3 PM Eastern on a business day and it is printed, inspected, packed and handed to the carrier that day. Carrier transit is still 2 to 5 business days standard. For a same-day handoff, book pickup in Huntington.
- Is there a minimum order for a small band merch run?
- No minimum on standard DTF transfers. Order a single 11 by 14 back print at $9.24 if that is all the table needs. Minimums do exist elsewhere in the catalog: puff DTF is 10 units, custom UV DTF carries a $35 order minimum, and leatherette patches are 10 per shape and color.
- Do you deliver to Patchogue, or do I have to drive to Huntington?
- Both are possible. A $19.99 flat-rate local courier option appears at checkout for eligible Long Island addresses, so check your address at checkout rather than assuming it covers you. Otherwise shipping is free on orders $99 and up, or book an appointment and collect in Huntington the same business day production finishes.
- How long do raised UV patches and puff take compared to standard DTF?
- Those are the exceptions. Raised UV patches, dimensional UV graphics, luxury branding transfers, hard-good branding components and fauxbroidery run 48 hours, because the cure and build stages are additive. Leatherette patches and puff DTF run 72 hours. Standard DTF, UV DTF and gang sheets are the same-day products. Order patches earlier in the week.
- What if a transfer fails partway through pressing a run?
- Report a defective or incorrect order within 7 days of delivery with photos, per our terms, and production defects are reprinted. Before calling it a defect, check press temperature and dwell: cotton at 300 to 325 F, polyester at 285 to 300 F, 10 to 15 seconds, medium-firm pressure. Most mid-run failures trace back to a cold or uneven platen.
