DTF Transfers for Hicksville, NY Businesses and Community Groups

Hicksville is a central Nassau commercial hub, and the apparel work that comes out of a place like that is owner-operated: small counts, tight budgets, and logos that were never drawn for print. DTF transfers fit that shape. Pricing is $0.06 per square inch of your design with no minimum order, and anything placed by 3 PM Eastern on a business day ships the same day.

Staff shirts for an owner-operated shop, priced out

Start with the two sizes that cover most of it. A left chest logo at 3.5 by 3.5 inches is 12.25 square inches, so $0.74 per transfer. A 10 by 12 inch full front or back is 120 square inches, so $7.20. Twelve shirts carrying both prints comes to $95.22 in transfers, which lands just under the $99 free shipping threshold, so two more sets or a small sheet of spares crosses it. There is no minimum on standard DTF, which means a six piece run is priced the same per transfer as a sixty piece run. Add $0.29 per transfer if you want them pre-cut.

When your logo only exists as a JPEG

A lot of small business logos live on a sign, a menu or a vehicle wrap, and the only file anyone can find is a JPEG with a white box behind it. Press that as it is and you get a white rectangle on the shirt. The background knockout tool on our site runs in the browser and strips the white so you can see what actually survives. What the press needs in the end is a 300 DPI PNG with a transparent background, sized at the dimensions you want printed. If the file came off a website at 72 DPI, rebuild or scale the artwork before export, not after.

Bounding box pricing, arched wordmarks and gang sheet arithmetic

Standard DTF is priced on the bounding box, not on ink coverage, so shape costs money. A wordmark set on an arc measuring 12 by 5 inches is 60 square inches, $3.60, even though most of that rectangle is empty film. Straighten the same text to 12 by 2.5 inches and it is $1.80. Gang sheets bill the same way, on sheet area. A 14 by 36 sheet is $30.24 and holds 27 of those 3.5 inch chest logos at the 0.25 inch minimum spacing, about $1.12 each, more than ordering the single transfer 27 times. Sheets pay off for mixed sizes and shapes that nest, not for one repeated square.

Orders that arrive in two waves

Volunteer shirts, milestone apparel and program tees rarely get ordered once. Headcount moves, someone turns up who was not on the list, and the second run has to match the first. DTF has no screens to burn and no setup to amortize, so a twelve piece top up costs the same per transfer as the original sixty and prints from the same file. Order the spares as a gang sheet if the sizes are mixed. Pressed at 300 to 325 F for cotton, 10 to 15 seconds, medium firm pressure, both waves wash the same way: 50 plus commercial cycles at 104 F when the spec is followed.

UV DTF for glass, tumblers and counter hard goods

Shirts are not the whole job for a retail or service business. UV DTF transfers go on hard smooth surfaces: glass, acrylic, metal tumblers, jars, clipboards, sign faces. They are $0.10 per square inch, and custom UV DTF carries a $35 order minimum. A 3 by 3 inch decal is 9 square inches, so $0.90 each, meaning thirty of them is $27 and you would size up or add to the order to clear the minimum. UV DTF is one of the same day products. Raised UV patches and dimensional UV graphics are not, because the cure and build stages are additive: budget 48 hours on those.

Cutoff times and how the order reaches Hicksville

Production runs Monday to Friday. An order in by 3 PM Eastern on a business day is printed, inspected, packed and handed to the carrier that same business day. That is the standard service, not an upgrade and not a fee. After 3 PM, or on a weekend or federal holiday, it goes out the next business day. Shipping is a separate clock: standard transit is 2 to 5 business days, expedited 1 to 3, free over $99 in the contiguous US. You can also collect the same business day by appointment at our Huntington facility, 205 E Main St, Ste 2-1. A $19.99 flat rate local courier option appears at checkout for eligible Long Island addresses.

Who orders from Hicksville

Owner-operated retail and service shops

Six to twenty staff shirts, aprons or totes carrying a left chest mark at $0.74 a transfer, with no minimum and no setup charge, so you can reprint two at a time when someone new starts.

Cultural and community organizations

Volunteer, program and milestone runs where the count is never final. Reprints match the original file exactly, a dozen top up pieces price the same per transfer as the first sixty, and mixed sizes ride on one gang sheet.

Event and fundraiser organizers

Artwork often lands late. Approve a 300 DPI transparent PNG before 3 PM Eastern on a business day and the transfers are handed to the carrier that day, with pickup in Huntington by appointment if the calendar is tight.

Home-based sellers and small decorators

Buy 14 inch gang sheets at $0.06 per square inch of sheet area, use the auto-build packer to nest mixed designs at the 0.25 inch minimum spacing, and press to order instead of holding stock.

Hicksville questions

Can I get DTF transfers the same day in Hicksville, NY?
We ship same day, we do not deliver same day. An order placed by 3 PM Eastern on a business day is printed, inspected and handed to the carrier that day, then standard transit runs 2 to 5 business days. For a faster hand off, pick up at our Huntington facility by appointment, or check whether the $19.99 flat rate local courier option appears at checkout for your address.
What does a 24 shirt left chest run actually cost?
A 3.5 by 3.5 inch left chest logo is 12.25 square inches at $0.06 per square inch, so $0.74 per transfer and $17.64 for 24. Pre-cut contour cutting adds $0.29 per transfer if you want them trimmed to shape. There is no minimum on standard DTF, so the same per transfer price holds whether you order six or sixty.
My only logo file is a JPEG with a white background. Is that usable?
Usually yes. Run it through the free background knockout tool on our site, which works entirely in the browser, then send a 300 DPI PNG with a transparent background at the final print size. Resolution is the real limit: thin strokes and small lettering are where a 72 DPI file taken off a website falls apart.
Should I order a gang sheet or individual transfers?
Both are $0.06 per square inch, but individual transfers are billed on the design's bounding box and gang sheets on the whole sheet area, gaps included. For one design repeated many times, individual transfers are usually cheaper. For many different designs and sizes, a 14 inch wide sheet packs them efficiently. The auto-build packer will lay it out and price it for you.
Will a reprint match the first run six weeks later?
Yes. There are no screens and no setup, so the file prints the same on the second run as it did on the first, and standard DTF has no minimum, so a top up of a dozen is fine. Press both waves to the same spec: 300 to 325 F for cotton or 285 to 300 F for polyester, 10 to 15 seconds, medium firm pressure.
